Applications for 2017

The CDT-CMP programme is jointly based at the Universities of Bristol and Bath. However, for application purposes, all submissions go through the University of Bristol.

We have filled our places for September 2017, aside from a new industrial Project Studentship with Oxford Instruments:

Entry Requirements Normally an upper second-class honours BSc, MSci, or MPhys degree in Physics or a related subject (or international equivalent)

Funding

UK/EU Students: We usually offer up to 12 studentships per year, funded either by EPSRC, the Universities of Bristol and Bath or our industrial/facility/company partners. These studentships cover tuition fees and a stipend of approximately £14,553 per year for living expenses (increases annually).

Non-UK/EU Students: Most of our fully-funded EPSRC studentships are only available to UK nationals and other EU nationals who have lived in the UK for at least three years. Non-EU students are usually funded through external Scholarships.
