Applications for 2018

The CDT-CMP programme is jointly based at the Universities of Bristol and Bath. However, for application purposes, all submissions go through the University of Bristol. Select the Condensed Matter Physics CDT (four-year PhD) postgraduate programme on the form:

Funding

UK/EU Students: We usually offer up to 12 studentships per year, funded either by EPSRC, the Universities of Bristol and Bath or our industrial/facility/company partners. These studentships cover tuition fees and a stipend of approximately £14,777 per year for living expenses (increases annually).

Non-UK/EU Students: We welcome applications from International and self-funded students.

Most of our fully-funded EPSRC studentships are only available to UK nationals and other EU nationals who have lived in the UK for at least three years. Non-EU students are usually funded through external Scholarships.
