CDT-CMP Student Torsten has his first paper published

We would like to congratulate Torsten!

PhD student Torsten Jensen, currently in his 3rd year of study with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Condensed Matter Physics, has published a first-author paper in CrystEngComm.

Torsten discovered a new crystal of an organic semiconductor molecule, and linked the arrangement of molecules in the crystal to how it behaves at the visible scale. This research could lead to more efficient organic devices including LED’s, solar cells and lasers.
