Physicist wins prestigious early-career award

CDT-CMP academic Dr Marcin Mucha-Kruczyński has won a prestigious early-career award from the Institute of Physics for his work on graphene. Dr Mucha-Kruczyński from the Department of Physics at the University of Bath received the James Maxwell Early Career Award which is given to scientists making exceptional early career contributions to theoretical physics.

Dr Mucha-Kruczyński said “I would like to thank all my collaborators, whose invaluable contributions to my work are also reflected in this award. I would also like to thank Professor Carole Mundell and Dr Daniel Wolverson for nominating me for this award.”
